Complex retail alterations within a fully operational shopping centre.
Sustainabylt delivered simultaneous base-building modifications and tenancy fit-outs across West End Plaza’s main mall, requiring close coordination with tenants, centre management and the public.
Works included HVAC and fire services alterations, tenancy separation, elevated infill walls, floor preparation and specialist coatings.
A particularly challenging component involved the controlled removal and lowering of a three-tonne safe door from an upper-level jewellery tenancy.
Outcome
Delivered on time and within budget, with no major disruption to centre trading and safe completion of complex demolition and elevated works.
