Straw Bale
This home has been
designed to achieve a 7 star energy rating using straw bale loadbearing
walls, recycled timber throughout, recycled corrugated iron lining,
reclaimed timber from “Black Saturday” fire affected
areas, no plaster or paint, earthern floors and polished concreate
floors throughout and all in a town zoned area!
We hosted a wall raising
to allow the clients – Nigel and Donna and their kids Finbar
and Mayve to have their friends to help build their dream house.
The weekend was a success and fun was had by all – especially
the kids!
