The clients engaged us to design a deck using rough sawn cypress boards and with the ability to have planter boxes and an elevated feel to it. It needed to blend in with the sloping block, fit the character of the building and be environmentally sensitive.

We chose to use steel bearers and joists to eliminate maintenance and as steel is 100% recyclable and most contains recycled content it provides a great base for the decking boards. The cypress decking came from Premier Timber Mills, was seasoned and our client sanded it and coated it with organ oil. A delightful project with happy clients.
