Sustainabylt History

Sustainabylt. The name that is synonymous with environmentally friendly construction in the North East of Victoria and Southern New South Wales. Our history goes all the way back to the early 1970's.
Sam-our senior partner - started his industry experience as a bricklayer in Western Australia, where double brick and thermal mass walls were common. His work consisted of residential and multi story units along with commercial construction.

The early 1980’s saw Sam design and build a septic waste water system unlike anything in Australia – it enabled him to complete a project on a main river and ensure that the waste water would not contaminate the diverse eco structure. This forward thinking is what we pride ourselves in.

The team has come a long way since the early 1970’s – it draws on its experience while remaining fresh and at the cutting edge of green construction. Alex was one of Victoria’s youngest builders and at 24 won a prestigious award from the Building Practitioners Board in Victoria for his learning excellence.

Sustainabylt’s Vision

Each time the team embarks on a design concept the experience and product knowledge is employed and you can be confident that over 50 years of construction management and building knowledge is used. We are a dynamic, innovative, flexible, multifaceted construction solution company. Through our talented people, hard work and technical expertise we are committed to providing successful outcomes – each and every time.

Our management team is both young and dynamic, our design ideas are fresh and our solutions are both practical and affordable. We are not the largest builders in our area and so understand that budgets are important, that each project, no matter how big or small the budget is deserves an award winning finish.
